Our self-catering static caravan is affectionately
known as 'The Bothy' and is ideal for couples
who wish to stay longer than a few days and enjoy the flexibility that
self-catering offers to explore the Isle of Mull. We
are located in the heart of the small fishing village of
Fionnphort
overlooking the historic island of Iona, close to all
local amenities, including the well stocked village shop & post office, pub & restaurant as
well as being ideally
situated for exploring the Ross of Mull,
Iona,
Staffa and the Treshnish
Isles. There are also numerous
walks and
white sandy beaches close by and an
abundance of bird and wild life.
Cycle
hire is also available.
‘The Bothy’ is a comfortable, spacious and fully equipped 36' x 12' Tudor Goodwood static caravan
tucked away in a quiet and secluded corner of our garden overlooking the
hills and moor – it has 2 bedrooms, a double bedroom (with a
standard
size double bed) and a twin bed room (ideal for young children only), with a shower
room, toilet and hand basin, an additional separate toilet and hand
basin, a separate storage room, a fully fitted kitchen with built in gas oven and
hob,
full size fridge with icebox and a microwave oven. The open plan sitting area is spacious and
comfortable with plenty of sofa seating with a corner dining area and comes equipped with a
TV/DVD
player, Freeview satellite with radio, books to read and browse
including local history and interest books, board games and jigsaws. There is a
gas fire in the living area,
with additional electric panel heaters in the main shower room and both bedrooms.
Maps of the local area, and a comprehensive information guide detailing
local walks is also provided. Outside, The Bothy has it's own small
sunny patio with picnic bench and table plus two teak sun loungers. A rotary clothes
line is provided and a next day laundry service is also available at Seaview.

is available for weekly lets (Saturday to Saturdays only)
from
Easter weekend to October @
£290 - £325 per week. This is the price for the weekand not per person. The hire price includes water, heating, gas, electricity, all bed
linen, duvets, pillows and towels (but please bring your own beach
towels). Private parking is available at the front of the house. Please note: Because we have our own
family dogs we do not
accept dogs in The Bothy as our Labradors, Megan and her daughter Lainie have full use of the garden.

A deposit of £100 per week secures
your reservation. The deposit can be paid by visiting the
PayPal website
(no account required) and using the 'Send Money' service with your
credit/debit card to send the deposit to our email address

(fast, simple and secure), or by cheque made payable to J Noddings.
Balance of payment is due on departure.

** Should you need
to cancel: please let us know in writing as soon as you can
(email is fine);
a charge for the full cost of the rental will be made but only IF we are unable to
re-let the caravan. All deposits are
non-refundable unless we are able to re-let less a
small charge @ 10% of the cost of the deposit to cover administration
and banking costs which we incur. If
you haven't already got holiday cancellation insurance (you may be
covered in your home insurance), we do advise you take out
insurance to cover your holiday accommodation costs in the unfortunate
event of you having to cancel your reservation at short notice.
